Brooklyn, 18, is an aspiring fashion photographer who works for his mum Victoria Beckham’s eponymous clothing company, but he shares a passion for art with his famous dad and has followed in the soccer star’s footsteps by getting a Native American Chief etched onto his forearm, which is the same inking David has on his torso.

The body art marks Brooklyn’s first ever time under the needle and the teenager has shared a close-up picture of his debut inking on Instagram.

Sharing an image of the tattoo, he wrote: “And we are done”.

And we are done x

David accompanied his firstborn to the Shamrock Social Club in Hollywood where legendary tattoo artist Mark Mahoney carried out the work.

Brooklyn shared a series of black and white snaps during the process and thanked Mark, writing on Instagram: “Honoured to have my first tattoo done by dads friend Mark Mahoney” and added: “Thank you so much Mark x just like dads.”

And it seems Brooklyn is continuing a tradition in the Beckham family, as David and his father Ted also have identical tattoos.

Explaining the tattoo of a ship he has etched just below his armpit on his torso, David previously said: “The ship. My father has exactly the same tattoo.”

And that’s not the only tattoo David has to remind him of his family, as he has a number of inkings dedicated to his children – Brooklyn, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 12, and Harper, five.

Speaking about the word ‘Buster’ he has tattooed on his neck, David said: “My first son, I’ve always called him buster.”

On his torso, David has the words “we love you daddy”, written in his children’s handwriting. He said: “My children actually wrote the words ‘we love you daddy’.”

David also explained the meaning behind the tattoo on the palm of his hand, which is based on a drawing done by his daughter Harper.

He explained: “I was watching Harper draw one day, and I thought ‘I’m gonna have it tattooed on me.’ The story of my life is written on my skin. Don’t expect to read it on my face.”
