Buffalo Bills Fan Smashes Table and Other Fan at Tailgate Party

A Buffalo Bills fan jumped onto a table with another Bills fan on it at a tailgate party outside the NFL team’s home stadium, New Era Field, in Orchard Park, New York, on Sunday, October 20.

The group of rowdy Bills fans was tailgating before the Bills’ game against the Miami Dolphins. The Bills defeated the Dolphins 31-21.

Bills fans have made a tradition of table slamming at their tailgate parties, see here, here and here, but the action usually involves risk to only one person at a time.

In September, Bills fans threw a tailgate-like wake to pay their respects to Ezra Castro, also known as Pancho Billa, a passionate tailgater who died of cancer during the off-season.

The unsafe pregame festivity has been banned in an effort to “curb excessive drinking prior to games,” local media in Buffalo, New York, reported in September 2018, citing police. Credit: KaylaHowie__ via Storyful
