An urgent appeal has been issued to find a man wanted in connection with an alleged attempted murder. Greater Manchester Police has launched a manhunt for Daanyaal Jamshad.

The 20-year-old is wanted following an incident that took place in Bolton last Tuesday (May 21). According to GMP, officers were called out to reports of a man being hit by a vehicle on Wentbridge Road at 9.20pm that night.

The victim was rushed to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.

GMP has released a photo of Jamshad on social media this afternoon (May 29) alongside an appeal to track him down.

The force says he is known to have links to the Bolton area. Anyone who sees Jamshad or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact GMP as soon as possible.
