The Cause nightclub launches huge outdoor beer hall: How to get tickets

A large outdoor beer hall is the latest addition to Costa Del Tottenham, a new series of outdoor spaces run by Tottenham Hale nightclub The Cause.

The “hangar-like venue”, called The Northside, will host socially distanced attendees and be fully covered, organisers say.

A range of events will make up the new programme. There will be a pub quiz every Friday evening, while Saturday nights will host Touché, which runs in collaboration with queer collective Adonis.

Shay Malt, promoter of Touché, said: “We have got some of the UK’s finest drag and cabaret acts together for this new concept and the response has been amazing.

“I don’t know anywhere else in the world where you’d find roller-skating queens delivering food and drinks to your table right now.”

Elsewhere, bootleg fashion designer Sports Banger will host Hardcore Techno Bingo, with exact details yet to be revealed.

Street food will be supplied by Caribbean favourite Only Jerkin’, while craft beer will be supplied by local breweries The London Beer Factory, Fourpure and Five Points. Rum company Pirates Grog will serve cocktails.

The Cause co-founder Stuart Glen said: “Whilst travel is risky and everyone is missing the summer holiday fun, we’re buzzing to package up everything a holiday brings to sunny north London. Amazing food, beers in the sun, late-night cocktails, a little bit of a disco and some risque entertainment to remember.”

The new area comes after the launch of The Southside, which features DJ sets alongside food, drinks and more.

The Northside launches on Friday August 7 at 6pm. Head here for tickets and more information.
