Dick Strawbridge, known for appearing on Escape to the Chateau, has left fans concerned for his health after taking to social media sharing a string of snaps from a recent beach trip.

The Channel 4 star took to Instagram on Tuesday, as he shared a bunch of photos with his 344k followers from a family outing to the beach. He was joined by his youngest two children, Arthur and Dorothy, who he shares with wife Angel Adoree.

He captioned the post: "Hello to you on this terrific Tuesday! Rainbows and sunshine! Simple sandy fun at seaside!" However many fans rushed to the comments to share their concerns for his health, as he was seen with a walking stick, the Mirror reports.

"Hope Dick is OK, see a walking stick being old rugby injury no doubt", one follower penned while another echoed: "Hope your knee is getting better Dick. Enjoy your lovely family." A third questioned: "What's wrong with Dick?"

It comes as Dick recently opened up about a knee injury, and that he had needed the aid of a walking stick for the past six months after it snapped whilst he was part of the military.

Speaking on his and wife Angel's podcast, Dick & Angel's Chat... Eau, he explained the injury led him to undergoing acupuncture treatment. "I went for my first treatment because my knee has been giving me some grief and I am still waiting to go along and see the expert which is actually on Dorothy’s birthday", he said.

Dick added: "So I went along and got pins stuck in me. It was interesting. When you have had 20 years in the army, when you lie down and do nothing, and nothing's happening you sleep."

Elsewhere, the couple have been absent from screens since 2022 when Escape to the Chateau came to an end. They have been busy focusing on other work projects, including launching their own YouTube channel.

Dick and Angel announced in March earlier this year they would be hosting The Game Fair's VIP enclosure in late July this year at Blenheim Place in Oxfordshire. They are due to make an epic return on Channel 4 next month.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2015, will be at the helm of a new television show, Dick and Angel's Secret France, as they explore hidden gems. The programme features four hour-long episodes, giving fans a look beyond the family's 19th century Château de la Motte-Husson.

Filming for the new series kicked off in January, before Dick and Angel embarked on a theatre and book signing tour in Australia and New Zealand. They shared the big news on their Instagram at the time, penning: "Escape to the Chateau: Secret France will be on your screens later this year – we can’t wait to share our discoveries with you!"
