Charlotte Crosby praised for congratulating ex Gaz Beadle's baby arrival after own ectopic pregnancy

Charlotte Crosby has been widely praised by fans after they spotted that she congratulated her ex-boyfriend, Gaz Beadle, after he became a dad earlier this week.

The move is particularly poignant as Charlotte had previously revealed that she suffered a traumatic ectopic pregnancy while in a relationship with Gaz two years ago.

The Geordie Shore star broke down in tears when Gaz announced that he and his girlfriend, Emma McVey, were expecting a baby in August last year – just 16 months after Charlotte’s ectopic pregnancy.

Taking to social media earlier this week, Gaz posted a loved-up photo of himself cuddling his newborn, writing: “WOW what a feeling no words can describe it meet our son.

“He is perfect in every way and healthy weighing 6lbs 2 @emma_jane1392 is fine and did amazing… I am a dad can’t believe it… I cried I smiled I panicked but I will be there for him no matter what.”

Responding to Gaz’s news on Twitter, Charlotte replied: “Congratulations to you both”, tagging both Gaz and Emma in her message.

The move did not go unnoticed by fans, who praised the star’s “respectful” response:

Speaking in 2016, Charlotte revealed that she only discovered that she was pregnant with Gaz’s child in April 2016 after she was hospitalised.

Charlotte needed a life-saving operation to remove her damaged fallopian tube, with the star saying that the incident has “compromised” her fertility.

She shared at the time: “I didn’t know what the hell was going on and I was in so much pain. Then the X-ray showed how much damage had been caused.

“Because I’d left it a week, it’d torn open my fallopian tube and I was bleeding internally. He said: ‘If you’d have left it any longer, you could have died.'”
