The Chase star Paul Sinha has revealed why he didn't go to Bradley Walsh for presenting advice.
The comedian and TV star, nicknamed 'The Sinnerman' on the programme, launched his new celebrity quiz show Paul Sinha's TV Showdown over the weekend.
The trivia series marks Paul's solo presenting debut and speaking recently, Paul revealed the reason he didn't ask The Chase host Walsh for advice was because he wanted to "bring something slightly different" to the role.

"Bradley is the absolute king," he told Radio Times. "I think it's very important to try and forge your own path."
"I'm aware that sometimes if you're trying to be somebody else, you end up saying words that just don't sound like your voice.

"And for better or worse, I want to be Paul Sinha, I don't want to be Bradley Walsh. Bradley Walsh is the king of what he does because he's Bradley Walsh. Hopefully, I'll bring something slightly different.
"I think you can be inspired by the best, but if you try to imitate the best, you might end up falling disappointedly short."

The comments follow The Chase breaking another ratings record.
Its spin-off Beat the Chasers returned to screens earlier this month, with viewers reacting to a tense moment between Shaun Wallace and Mark Labbett in episode one of the new series, plus a show first which saw one lucky contestant take home £50,000.
Paul Sinha's TV Showdown will continue on Saturday (January 16) on ITV. The Chase and Beat The Chasers also air on ITV.
