Cheeky chip! This boy was photobombed by a McDonald’s FRENCH FRY in hilarious selfie

Animals who want to be part of a selfie by sticking their head in to the camera’s view with hilarious consequences is nothing new.

However, this young boy was photobombed by something a lot less furry – and a lot less alive.

Alistair Ross posed for a photograph in the East Kirlbride branch of McDonald’s after getting a snazzy new haircut.

His mum, Lesley Simpson, took the photo of the boy sitting with his chicken nuggets and fries and at first glance it’s a perfectly standard shot.

However, look closely and you will a chip desperate to get in on the action, photobombing Alistair while it waited to be eaten.

You might not see it at first but look carefully at the chips on the left hand side and you will see one standing up to attention with a massive smile on its face:

Lesley said she only noticed the cheeky chip after her son pointed it out.

She told The Daily Record: “He was killing himself laughing and when he showed me it the pair of us were rolling around having a good laugh.

“Everyone we’ve shown it to since have cracked up.”

Unfortunately for the chip, he wasn’t able to revel in his new-found fame as he was eaten by a ravenous Alistair.

Lesley added: ”He would have tried to keep it until it went mouldy if he’d spotted it at the time as it looks so cute – in a weird chip kind of way – but sadly he was eaten.

“We would have kept it if we’d seen him but he was sadly eaten after being dipped into sweet curry sauce.”
