Chelsea vs Watford team news: David Luiz and Tiemoue Bakayoko start, Andreas Christensen dropped

Antonio Conte has dropped Andreas Christensen in favour of Antonio Rudiger, while David Luiz and Tiemoue Bakayoko have been passed fit for the visit of Watford on Saturday.

After seeing his Chelsea side throw away a two-goal lead against Roma in midweek and be forced to come from behind to secure a 3-3 draw - a game in which Christensen started in defence - Conte has opted to have summer signing Rudiger back in a three-man defence.

He plays alongside Gary Cahill and Luiz, who has been shifted back into defence after being fielded in a defensive midfield position against Roma.

There were question marks as to whether the defender would feature on Saturday due to a leg pain which forced him off early against Roma, but the Brazilian has seemingly passed his fitness test to start against Watford.

That means Cesar Azpilicueta takes up Victor Moses' right wing-back spot as Marcos Alonso starts in his usual left wing-back role.

Bakayoko, who felt pain in his groin against Roma, has been risked as he starts alongside Cesc Fabregas in midfield as Pedro and Eden Hazard flank Alvaro Morata up front.

Chelsea XI: Courtois, Rudiger, Luiz, Cahill, Azpilicueta, Fabregas, Bakayoko, Alonso, Pedro, Morata, Hazard.
