CHERRIES are among a handful of Premier League clubs reportedly “monitoring” Liverpool youngster Tyler Morton.

The 21-year-old has made nine appearances for the Reds’ first team, having come up through the academy.

All came in the 2021-22 season, two of which were in the Premier League.

Since, Morton has been out on loan, with Championship loan spells at Blackburn Rovers and Hull City.

MailOnline claim Liverpool value the midfielder at £20million, with German outfit Red Bull Leipzig said to be at the front of the queue.

Cherries, alongside newly-promoted Premier League duo Ipswich Town and Southampton, are also linked with Morton, with the report stating the trio are “monitoring developments” regarding his future.

It is a summer of change at Liverpool, with Arne Slot replacing long-serving boss Jurgen Klopp, while Richard Hughes has moved from Cherries to take up a role of sporting director at Anfield, under Michael Edwards.

England under-21 international Morton has made 87 senior appearances over the past two seasons, scoring three goals and providing nine assists.
