Cheryl will exact 'revenge' on Ant and Dec in a star studded stunt on this weekend's Saturday Night Takeaway, having previously been victim of one of the hosts' hilarious pranks.

After a lot of speculation linking the group to an appearance on the ITV show, Cheryl and her Girls Aloud bandmates have now been confirmed as the Star Guest Announcers for for the April 13 series finale, with other guests lined up for the two hour spectacular including Tony Hadley, S Club, Ashley Roberts and Scarlett Moffatt.

And being in the voice over booth with Nadine, Kimberley and Nicola won't be Cheryl's only role on what could be the last Saturday Night Takeaway ever, as she is one of many famous faces who will take part in I'm A Celebrity Get Out of Me Ear: The Revenge. Viewers saw Ant and Dec have the tables turned on them separately at the weekend, with Ant pranked by Dermot O'Leary and Allison Hammond and Dec had orders given to him by Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell.

Near the end of Saturday night's episode, the Geordie duo aired a clip of the epic revenge segment that will be on screen for the finale,. which will see them put at the mercy of a large contingent of celebs, with Cheryl seen leading the charge, walking out with a two cakes and defiantly remarking: "Let's do this!"

Cheryl was the star of a Get Out of Me Ear stunt back in 2015, with the premise being that she was selling her home and invited estate agents in to take a look. As Ant and Dec gave her instructions through an ear piece, one moment saw her being told to open a fridge, to find it contained a pile of pies, a photo of fellow X Factor judge Louis Walsh and a load of Newcastle Brown Ale.

Other stars getting in on the act to get their own back on Ant and Dec include Davina McCall, Olly Murs, Oti Mabuse and Holly Willoughby.
