Cheryl and Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse are denying claims of a so-called "feud" on The Greatest Dancer.

The judges will chair the new BBC One dance reality search when it hits screens next month, but have already had to squash reports in The Sun that crew members, including Oti, believed Cheryl was 'acting like a diva' on set.

Rubbishing the rumours, Oti has now said: "I love Cheryl and had a great time filming The Greatest Dancer with her and I can't wait to see her again soon."

A spokesman for Cheryl also told Digital Spy: "Cheryl absolutely loves working with Oti and has a brilliant relationship with her."

"Both Cheryl and Oti have a great relationship and this comes across on screen," added a Greatest Dancer spokesperson.

"There is absolutely no truth to any suggestion they don't get on."

Cheryl and Oti will be joined by Glee star Matthew Morrison, who completes the judging panel.

The series will be hosted by Alesha Dixon and Diversity member Jordan Banjo.

Last month, Oti confirmed she would not be joining her 2018 Strictly Come Dancing partner Graeme Swann on the UK tour due to commitments filming The Greatest Dancer.

She will instead be replaced by Karen Clifton.

The Greatest Dancer will start on Saturday, January 5 at 8pm on BBC One.
