After being off the radar for two months, Haggerston's Chick ‘n’ Sours is back for business on July 2 as it reopens its doors to hungry chicken lovers.

The east London venue has been given a full-blown makeover, with a brand new bar underneath the restaurant and a new menu format. Dishes will be smaller, which they say will mean diners can try out more plates.

New dishes on offer include a chicken toast – inspired by the classic Chinese prawn toast – hot chicken and waffles and a Seoul Destroyer burger made with roast chicken fat.

Diners also have three different types of fries to choose from; besides the original dipping fries there 'crack' fries and 'fully loaded' fries. No, we're not entirely sure what exactly those names mean, either.

To kick things off, Chick ‘n’ Sours will be offering 50 per cent off food on the opening couple of nights – the early bird and all that.
