Then, somewhere throughout the 94 minutes, we get a pink bunny costume, a leg lamp, and a mean Santa Claus and his elves. It’s quite the rollercoaster, and one we don’t get sick of even on Christmas Eve when it’s played for 24 hours straight.
The best thing about Department’s 56 village is that you can decide which pieces you want without having to purchase them all. So you can add Ralphie’s house, his family, Cleveland Elementary School, or a poor kid whose tongue is stuck to a freezing cold flag pole. Or, you can get them all!
