Coast Guard Returns Pilot Whales to Sea After Stranding on Florida Beach

A US Coast Guard crew returned three pilot whales to the sea in the Gulf of Mexico after they became stranded on Redington Beach in Florida on Monday, July 29.

The pilot whales were three of five that were stranded at Redington Beach that morning.

According to reports, large crowds gathered to assist the stranded whales and tents were placed over them to keep them cool.
