Colts full mock draft: Part 1

The Draft is less than a week away here you can find a few different scenarios I think could happen for the Colts.

Now that draft season in full force, the hot takes are more numerous than Browns quarterbacks. With new mock drafts every day, I have decided to do my own with a little twist.

In this article I will show you the first of my final four Colts mock drafts. So without any more waiting, here is my first mock draft for the Colts.

Full disclaimer, this strategy seems like the most likely strategy for the Colts. Grabbing a pass rusher like Charles Harris, who has drawn comparisons to Justin Houston on tape.

At the same time adding an underrated pass rusher like Daeshon Hall will help ensure the Colts have some semblance of a pass rush for 2017 and beyond.

Adding Tankersley, a Clemson National Championship product, brings the size and physical play that fits the prototypical NFL corner, he can get a bit grabby, but hopefully the Colts coaching staff can fix that.

Shaq Griffin is a fun prospects, I would have to compare him to Phillip Gaines on the Rams, with speed, ball skills, good size, he can have a significant contribution in his rookie year, and could be the future 1-2 combo with Tankersley.

If Ballard decides to move on from Davis after his contract ends this year. Kareem Hunt may be the most underrated running back in this stacked class, with 0 fumbles in his college career, the all around talented runner could be a perfect spell in his rookie year for Frank Gore and the starter moving forward.

Late round prospects Lee and Jerome, will provide some good depth and competition at safety and linebacker who could push to start at some point. This draft will help full the roster with safe picks at necessary positions.
