Kelly is arrested
The police will swoop on the Street and the resident they have in their sights is Kelly, who’s arrested and questioned following the attack on Nina and Seb.
But despite having legal eagle Imran by her side, it’s mum Laura who’s set to have the most influence on Kelly when she warns her daughter to keep schtum. And what’s more, Laura wants Kelly to come and live her once she’s released. Feeling unappreciated and undermined, Imran is left fuming.
Will Asha do the right thing?
Corey, meanwhile, is playing mind games with Asha, instructing her to tell the police they were together in the flat when the attack took place and also ensure that Amy doesn’t divulge the real facts.

But we’ll all be hoping that Dev exerts a greater influence on Asha than Corey does, as he begs her to come home. Couple that with Amy telling Asha to stop covering for Corey and the stage is set for a classic soap dilemma. Will Asha stand by her no-good fella or tell the truth?
Nina is in turmoil
A traumatised Nina wants to jog her memory so decides to discharge herself from hospital in order to revisit the scene of the assault. But a concerned Roy manages to talk her out of her plan and then admits privately to Evelyn (who’s back following her trip away) that he’s concerned about Nina’s welfare.
Elsewhere, Summer is feeling downcast and admits to Paul that she feels partly to blame for the attack as she really ought to have made Kelly leave the scene at the same time she did.
Sam schools Daniel
Are we all in agreement that young Sam has been the best addition to Corrie in quite some time? Further proof of how adorable he is will come next Friday when he’s seen enthusing about Treasure Island, the book he’s studying for his 11-plus. When Daniel then reveals that he’s training to be an English teacher, David suggests that he tutor Sam.
But it soon turns out to be a baptism of fire for Daniel, who calls round to No 8 for Sam’s opening lesson, only to find that his pupil has set him a test to make sure he’s up to the job.
Ronnie makes things up to Ed
Ed decides to visit Aggie in Birmingham in order to give Michael, Grace and baby Glory some space. But after causing him so much stress of late, Ronnie really wants to make things up to his brother.
After confiding in Jenny about how wretched he feels, Ronnie comes up with a plan that he hopes will prove how sorry he is. Jenny agrees to help and invites Michael and Grace to the Rovers to wet the baby’s head – surreptitiously giving Ronnie the thumbs up at the same time. But what does he have planned?
