Next week on 'Emmerdale': Aaron is attacked and rushed to hospital, plus Vinny discovers Liv's secret (spoilers)
Crime certainly doesn’t pay for Aaron. Or Pollard. Or Jimmy, for that matter. Plus Vinny clocks Liv hitting the bottle and Tracy calls a halt to Frankie’s christening when the day descends into acrimony.
It’s all you need to know about another tumultuous week on Emmerdale 10-14 May, 2021.
Pollard puts Aaron in hospital
Home insurance premiums must be sky high in Emmerdale because someone is always going on the rob or trying to flog stolen merchandise. The latest victim of crime is Brenda, who’s had a brooch nicked by Mack.
The trouble is, she thinks the thief is Faith and these suspicions are understandably causing friction when it comes to her relationship with Eric. Aaron, though, knows who the real culprit is, but can’t convince Mack to hand the brooch over. So, in an attempt to put things right, Aaron steals it back and tries to return it to Pollard’s Barn, only to be caught red-handed by Eric, who whacks him to the ground with a bat.

So, by the end of the week, we have the brooch back where it belongs, Aaron in hospital and Eric hauled off in handcuffs by the police after being charged with causing Aaron’s injuries!
Jimmy wants to plead guilty
If Pollard does end up in prison, though, he might find he’s serving time on the same wing as Jimmy, who’s set to make a big decision about his upcoming court trial. After Ethan reveals that the meteorological report from the day of the crash will be vital when it comes to proving his innocence, Jimmy says that they need to start looking at different angles when it comes to his case.
Back at home, the hangdog haulage driver then tells Nicola that he’s going to plead guilty to the charge and that his mind is made up. But as Nico despairs that her hubby is about to get banged up, he refuses to discuss the matter any further.
Vinny frets about Liv
A guilt-ridden Liv is now regularly masking her anxieties with alcohol – and there’ll be even more booze being necked when Vinny reveals that his therapy sessions have left him with more questions about the past.
At Frankie’s christening, Liv will be seen looking utterly lost and secretly downing glasses of vodka to numb her pain. When Vinny then observes her actions, he’s left shocked by the true extent of her drinking habits. But will Liv be able to open up about what really happened with Paul in that wedding barn?
Tracy's had enough
Oh, and speaking of that christening, you can also expect plenty of tension between the Dingles and Pollard (this is prior to his arrest, of course), to the extent that Tracy declares that she’s had enough of the day’s stresses and just wants to be taken home.
What a start in life for little Frankie, eh? Mind you, she perhaps ought to get used to fiery showdowns and slanging matches if she’s going to live in that village…
