Coronation Street spoilers: David kisses Maria, Daisy attacks her stalker
As David spirals into despair on Coronation Street next week, he ends up seeking solace with Maria – but his actions result in Shona walking out.
Elsewhere, Stephen’s evil campaign against Carla continues, while Daisy slugs it out with her stalker, and Alya reunites with old flame Ryan.

David kisses Maria
Max is attacked in the STC, and when David hears about what’s happened, he gets drunk while sitting alone in Victoria Garden.
Maria then finds him there and tries to offer sympathy, but David misconstrues and leans in for a drunken kiss. After Maria orders David to go home, she reveals what’s happened to Gary. Cue a confrontation in the Rovers that results in Shona discovering all and subsequently deciding to leave David!

What we’ll see next is Maria assuring Shona that the attempted kiss meant nothing. But will her words be enough for Shona to give David another chance?
Stephen drugs Carla again
When Stephen learns that Carla is planning to return to the factory in a few days’ time he call round and spikes a glass of water she’s drinking with more LSD. And when Carla then starts to feel dizzy and disorientated, Peter tells Stephen that he’s going to call for a doctor.
However, this proves to be a minor setback for Carla who, by Friday, reckons she’s now fighting fit again. Stephen then asks Sarah to tell Carla that her mental health is still too fragile for work, but can the Underworld boss be convinced?
Alya is back in the arms of Ryan
After saying goodbye to Zeedan as he sets off for London, Alya comes face to face with a client by the name of Jayden, who’s been accused of stabbing somebody. Before Dee-Dee and Adam can intervene, Alya then angrily describes to him what it’s like to be stabbed.
Later on, Alya confides her feelings in Ryan, who advises her to put down all of what she’s said in a victim statement. And after pulling Alya in for a hug, the embrace soon turns into a passionate kiss…
Daisy’s stalking nightmare intensifies
There’s no respite for poor Daisy, who receives a voicemail from Justin explaining that he found her number on a delivery package. And no sooner has she been told this than her phone is bombarded with a string of texts from Justin.
Daisy is then convinced by Daniel that she should go to the police. But PC Scott plays the matter down, and when Daisy later returns home, she’s horrified to discover that the officer has liked all her holiday photos.
The week then goes from bad to worse when Daisy encounters Justin bearing a bunch of flowers in his hand. Storming over, Daisy grabs the bouquet and stamps on it. But when Justin then places a calming hand on her arm, Daisy sees red and punches him – earning herself an accusation of assault when she’s reported to the police.
Spider takes action against Len Cameron
Maria is heartened when she discovers that Len Cameron has had a change of heart and now appears set to fund the refugee centre.
But events take a surprising turn when Spider visits Griff in prison and agrees for his sentence to be reduced if he reveals where the money for his activities came from. But when Griff reveals that Councillor Cameron came up with the cash, Spider tells him he can forget about the deal!
Friday’s drama then finds Maria left annoyed when Len invites the press to photograph him handing over a cheque for the funding. But what neither are expecting is for Spider and a colleague to arrive screeching onto the scene in a car. Why, though, are they wearing stab vests? And what do they have planned?
