EastEnders spoilers: Soap's anniversary brings shocks and surprises to Albert Square

EastEnders has been hyping this week as being one where everything changes for some of its female characters. The setting for this drama will be a lock-in at the Queen Vic, where the women of Walford are seen moaning about the men in their lives.

But what becomes apparent is that, in a flash, everything can change…

Denise meets with Ravi at a hotel

Denise joins a distracted Jack for a drink in the Vic and makes a point of kissing him in front of Ravi, as if she needs to prove something to herself.

But when Jack leaves early due to work commitments, a drunk Denise then makes a move on Ravi, who turns her down because he doesn’t want to take advantage while she’s in such a state.

The next day, Ravi volunteers to take part in Kim’s livestream – solely to get closer to Denise. But at Fox & Hair, Denise can’t help but feel flustered while in Ravi’s presence and, after some harsh words are exchanged, Ravi decides to withdraw from the event.

Later on, though, he heads to No 27 to patch things up with Denise and ask her to spend the following night with him at a hotel. After kissing him passionately, Denise agrees…

Sharon and Keanu’s reunion is ruined

Sharon and Keanu share a passionate moment in the bathroom at the Vic following a conversation about their feelings for each other. But happiness turns to heartbreak when Keanu receives a voice note from Sam hinting at their romance in Spain.

Angry at herself for letting her guard down, Sharon then banishes a dejected Keanu, who’s left gutted at having blown his chances.

However, the following day, Sharon calls Keanu to reveal that she still loves him. And the two of them later agree to put their differences aside and go on a date that evening.

Linda makes a clandestine call

Linda is in for a surprise of the worst kind when she receives a photo of Shirley and Dean from Carly. Retreating to the hallway, she breaks down where she thinks she can’t be seen, but is spotted by Kathy who tries to console her.

On the business front, Linda later reveals to Sharon that she’s received a counter-offer from Nish and Suki for Mick’s half of the Queen Vic. And enraged by their deceit, Sharon decides to confront the Panesars.

By Wednesday, Linda remains torn about her decision to sell Mick’s half of the pub. And after some wise words from Patrick, she’ll be seen making a secret phone call…

Karen boycotts the Minute Mart

When Karen gets distracted by a phone call, she accidentally exits the Minute Mart without paying and is accused Suki of stealing. A blazing row then erupts, which ends with Mitch and Karen vowing never to shop in there again.

The next day, Nish convinces Suki that she needs to apologise to Karen in order to protect their image in front of the Walford residents.

But will saying 'sorry' work?
