Shock death at the B&B
As anyone could have predicted, the grand re-opening of the B&B turns into a nightmare. The first flashpoint is Bernice booking a harpist by the name of Tim, who she sleeps with on the night before the big event. But the next day, the harpist is a no-show – with Bob ultimately having to break the news to Bernice that he’s found Tim dead!

The second major issue is Cathy, who is asked by Bob to be elsewhere for the opening after she has another frustrated outburst. After Cathy flees in tears, Bernice tries to calm the teen by offering her an amethyst pendant to help with her stress. But when her temper flares once again, Cathy crushes the pendant underfoot and is left feeling confused as to why she’s feeling this way.
Finally, we have Wendy, who manages to jump to the erroneous conclusion that Bob and Bernice have slept together. Cue her dumping a bucket of ice-cold water all over Bob from an upstairs window! But can someone put her right on the matter?
Noah is manipulated by Samson
Noah is left reeling when he loses his apprenticeship. But when he rushes off to meet a potential new employer, it’s Samson who’s left looking after Esther in his absence.
Samson is, of course, toying with Noah as he seeks to worm his way into Amelia’s good books. And, as he escalates his efforts, Samson will be seen manipulating Noah into offering him a pay-off from his trust fund to keep away from Esther. His price? £2000 – a sum that Noah ends up accepting...
Sam’s actions result in an injury for Pollard
Dan is struggling as he can’t afford to support his family, so Sam suggests to Cain that he give him a rise to help with paying for Esther. But Cain resists, telling Sam that Dingles need to think outside of the box.
Acting on Cain’s recommendation, Sam visits the shop and attempts to distract Pollard while he steals baby stuff for Esther. But when he’s confronted, Sam panics and tries to flee. While running after him, Pollard then trips and hits his head, and Sam is left staring down in horror at his now-unconscious pursuer. Just what has he done?
Can Gabby snare Nicky?
A frustrated Gabby keeps on getting the brush-off from Nicky, but finally gets a reaction when she asks him to zip up her dress.
Knowing that Nicky is finding temptation hard to resist, Gabby can’t help but be pleased. And when she then realises that her position as his boss is still making him hesitant about starting something, Gabby temporarily fires him so they can have some fun.
The trouble is, Nicky is left unimpressed by Gabby’s actions and leaves her floundering when he decides to quit instead!
Marcus is feeling guilty
Ethan is overjoyed when he and Marcus make up following their recent falling out. But Marcus is desperately trying to mask his secret guilt.
Tensions are then set to be heightened when Ethan puts a plan to propose to Marcus into action – all of which results in Ethan being on the receiving end of an almighty shock.
Suzi receives a warning
Jai urges Jacob to offer an olive branch to Leyla and help with her recovery, and she is certainly touched when he does exactly that.
But might Jai have an ulterior motive for wanting Jacob to aid his mum? It definitely starts to seem so, when Jai leaves Suzy utterly stunned as he warns her off spending any more time with Leyla.
Arthur gets some help
There’s a setback coming for Arthur, who’s told by an insistent Marshall that the two of them can’t be friends.
Thankfully, Laurel is on hand to him support and comfort, while Jacob is later seen helping Arthur prepare for his LGBTQ+ event.
