Coronation Street spoilers: Max pleads guilty, Hope accuses Beth of assault
Trouble escalates for Max on the ITV soap next week
Max appears to be heading to prison as he pleads guilty on Coronation Street next week.
Plus, Hope’s plan for revenge takes a violent turn when she accuses Beth of assault. And Daisy’s stalker makes his presence felt yet again, while Damon gives Sam some advice that lands him in trouble at school.

Max shuns David’s offer of help
An email from Max’s solicitor Harriet informs David that the charges against the troubled teen are being escalated to Encouragement of Terrorism.

When she later calls round at No 8, Harriet tells David that, in her view, Max is very much the victim, having been groomed by Griff. Pleased at her words, David assures her that he’ll get hold of the cash for her fee as he wants the best possible defence for Max.
But these efforts look set to count for nothing, what with Max deciding to plead guilty and ignore David’s calls. In a bid to blot out his worries, David will then be witnessed knocking back whisky as he awaits Max’s sentencing.
Hope accuses Beth of slapping her
Hope intends to have revenge on Peanut for Cilla’s murder and forms a convoluted plan that involves employing Sam to get hold of Vin Diesel the stuffed weasel from the barbers.
Hope is set to place Vin Diesel’s mouth around the skin of her arm before approaching Peanut and letting out a piercing scream! After accusations are made, Beth confronts Hope, who returns home in tears and with claims that Beth slapped her in the face. Fiz and Tyrone then confront Beth over Hope’s allegation, but she denies doing anything of the sort.
But by Friday, Fiz is suggesting to Beth that they all sit down to talk through the incident. Yet when Hope discovers what the adults have in store for her, she vents her fury and storms out.
Daisy’s stalker receives a warning
Daisy is in full bridal mode as she tries to drum up freebies for her wedding through her social marketing. Her first port of call is Preston’s Petals, where she asks an unimpressed Tracy if she can provide the flowers for the ceremony free of charge.
Next, Daisy attends a wedding fair where she posts a selfie, unaware that there’s a poster in the background. As she later tries on a dress, stalker Justin arrives posing as Daisy’s fiancé and revealing that he saw her latest image online.
Daisy is freaked out and threatens to call the police, but her feeling of mounting horror intensifies when, once she returns to the Rovers, Glenda emerges with a funeral arrangement of flowers that Daisy assumes are from Justin.
When Daniel later spots Justin out on the Street, he issues him with a warning: stay away from Daisy. But will he listen?
Damon gets Sam into big trouble
Nick is worried about Damon’s influence both on the Bistro and son Sam, who’s seen on Friday asking the dodgy businessman for tips on fighting.
The trouble is that Nick subsequently receives a call from the school informing him that Sam has been in a fight. When the youngster then explains about Damon’s advice, Nick is left furious while Leanne is baffled by his over-reaction.
Nick then confesses to Leanne that Damon is Harvey’s brother, and that he’s using the Bistro for drug deliveries. But how will Leanne react?
Bernie’s sporting success
When Dev reveals that he’s been let down by his golfing partner, Bernie offers to step in. And following their game, novice Bernie can’t help but lord it over a sulky Dev in the Rovers after she thrashes him.
When Bernie then takes a call from the ladies’ golf captain asking her to take part in next week’s trials, Dev does his best to be pleased for her.
