Coronation Street spoilers: Paul’s shock diagnosis, Amy lets Aaron off the hook
There’s trauma for Paul on Coronation Street next week when he’s told he may have motor neurone disease.
Meanwhile Amy is under pressure, Sarah lets rip at Damon, and Craig makes an error as he tries to earn Miley’s affection.

Has Aaron escaped justice?
Tracy calls at the police station and glues herself to the counter, telling the desk sergeant that she’s not moving until Amy’s rape allegation is taken seriously. When Steve and Amy get wind of what’s going on, they turn up at the scene and Amy begs her Mum not to go ahead with a plan she’s come up with to give an interview to Suki from the Gazette.

Following this showdown, Amy U-turns, with Aaron seen setting Aadi straight when he’s accused of being responsible for the assault. But it’s clear that Summer isn’t convinced by Amy’s change of heart.
Later, Amy’s phone pings with a picture of Aaron and Aadi clearly enjoying themselves at a gig in town. Yet despite her having clocked Amy’s obvious discomfort, Summer decides not to push the matter. But when Amy calls at Speed Daal for a takeaway during Friday’s episode, she spots Aaron at the counter and flees the restaurant.
Paul’s shock diagnosis
When Paul discovers that Dee-Dee is covering his costs, he packs up his things and tells her he’s moving out as what she needs is a proper flatmate, not a charity case.
In a low mood, Paul then attends his appointment with the neurologist, who tells him he may be suffering from motor neurone disease. In tears, Paul later stares at his withered hand, the reality of what lies ahead hitting him hard.

By Friday, though, Paul still hasn’t told his family about the diagnosis and instead approaches Damon, revealing that he hasn’t got long to live and is in need of some fast cash. Damon then hands Paul the details of a guy by the name of Kyle who’s looking for a driver as part of an insurance scam. But will Paul break the law to solve his financial problems
Damon makes Sarah his mission
Damon finds Sarah eating alone in the Rovers and reminds her that his sole aim is to get her into bed.
But Sarah then discovers that Leanne won’t let Sam go to her Easter egg hunt because she feels it isn’t safe for him to be around Nick while Damon and his thugs remain at liberty. Deciding to take action, Sarah confronts Damon and reveals that, because of him, Sam is too scared to come round to the house. Will this be the incentive Damon needs to put things right?
Craig messes things up with Miley
Faye asks Craig to meet Miley as she’s set to pay her daughter a visit. But Craig takes a big risk by inviting Beth along too.
The following day, Craig tells Faye that he’d like buy Miley a present. But when Faye reveals that Miley likes basketball, Craig mishears and purchases a baseball bat and mitt. A game of catch then doesn’t go to plan and Craig is left kicking himself over the mistake before admitting to Faye that he feels jealous of Jackson.
Glenda spies an opportunity
As George and Todd hurry tricky customer Estelle out of the undertakers, Glenda recognises her and explains that they used to work side by side on the cruise ships.
Estelle reveals that she’s now the co-owner of a performing arts club for kids and that anyone can buy into the franchise. Glenda’s interest is piqued at the thought of opening her own branch…
Brian wants to visit his Italian cousin
Brian receives an email from the family tree website informing him of the existence of his Italian cousin, Isabella. So he immediately starts planning a trip to Napoli.
But plans for this overseas trip are scuppered when Brian receives an email from Isabella letting him know that her flat is currently undergoing renovation, so she’ll be visiting him in Weatherfield instead.
