Corrie isn’t yet revealing the result of Chesney’s actions, but by the week’s end, Henry has offered Gemma a job, which she decides to accept – but on the condition that he promises to save the Rovers. Henry is delighted, but will Chesney be able to get over his dislike of the man?
Will Stephen be tied to Rufus’s death?
The death of Rufus is ruled to be misadventure, but despite Stephen assuring his widow Lou that it was a tragic accident, she’s suspicious. As far as Lou is concerned, his drug-fuelled death just doesn’t stack up.
On Friday, Stephen attends Rufus’s memorial, but is horrified when he spots his own tie pin in a bag Lou shows him that contains items belonging to her husband found by the die of the pool.
Stephen is left shocked when Lou reveals that she’s going to show the tie pin to the police as it wasn’t Rufus’s.
Max’s choice – will it be Lauren or Sabrina?
Lauren gets herself a job at the café, and Max assures her that he’ll pop over to wish her moral support. But when Sabrina subsequently approaches Max and suggest they hang out at No 8, he sends Lauren a text informing her that he now won’t have time to visit Roy’s Rolls.
Max then heads home with Sabrina – little realising that a crestfallen Lauren is watching him from across the street. Once inside the house, Sabrina admits to Max that although she really likes him, a relationship is out of question while Lauren remains in his life. Who will a torn Max choose?
Eliza’s big mystery
School is out for the summer and Eliza will be seen lying to Yasmeen and Stu that she’s heading out to holiday club.

Hope v Ruby
Friday’s drama finds a complacent Hope practising her solo in front of Ruby, fully expecting to be bagging the lead role in the Little Big Shotz summer spectacular.
But later at the community centre, Glenda makes the announcement that it’ll be Ruby taking centre stage – with Eliza, Ciara and Hope as her backing singers. Ruby, of course, is thrilled, but Hope is stung by what she sees as a rejection.
