EastEnders spoilers: Ben’s bulimia crisis worsens, Whitney's Zack bombshell

Patrick is in for a surprise on EastEnders next week when Yolande returns to Albert Square. Plus Ben hits rock bottom, but will he be brave enough to open up to Callum?

Elsewhere, Whitney leaves Zack heartbroken when she delivers some shock news, while Sonia makes a distressing realisation about Reiss.

Ben breaks down

Ben’s feelings of inadequacy are spiking ahead of Jay’s parental hearing and, as he takes his frustrations out on the gym bag, it’s looking likely that he’ll miss the court date altogether. Luckily, George intervenes and advises Ben to be a source of support for Lexi. And so, much to the relief of Jay, Ben makes it after all.

But later on at the Vic, Honey once again clocks Ben’s worrying behaviour around food and follows him home with the aim of getting him to open up to her. Honey then confides her experiences with bulimia, but Ben lashes out and orders her to leave before breaking down in tears once alone.

The following day, the situation worsens when Ben lashes out at Honey in public and has a difficult conversation with Phil – the result of all this being that he’s provoked into purging again.

And when Callum arrives home early and catches Ben, things soon go horribly wrong.

Yolande returns

Patrick has a special visitor in the form of Yolande, who reveals that her boyfriend Anton has thrown her out. She’d now like to move in with Patrick, but he’s not sure that’s a good idea, so with her ego bruised, Yolande leaves in a huff.

Denise, though, thinks Patrick needs to tell Yolande how he feels before she goes back to Birmingham and a man she doesn’t love. And so, on Wednesday, Patrick and Yolande will be seen going to the launderette to talk about whether they’re each other’s future or merely ghosts from the past.

Sonia and Reiss’s heated showdown

Reiss is acting strangely around Sonia and she has no idea why. What she doesn’t realise is that he thinks she’s cheated, though Sonia is actually still reeling over Reiss’s comments about not wanting to be a dad – especially seeing as she thinks she might now be pregnant.

Thankfully Whitney is there for Sonia in her hour of need. But as Sonia takes a pregnancy test, Whit catches Reiss trying to break into his girlfriend’s phone and, in the confronation that follows, a devastated Sonia comes to the conclusion that Reiss does want kids — just not with her.

By Wednesday, the two of them will be seen having a heart to heart — but will they be able to settle their differences?

Whitney has bombshell news for Zack

There’s mixed news for Zack on what would have been Peach’s due date. On the good side, his viral load is now undetectable.

But when he and Whitney spend time at their daughter’s tree, Zack suggests they try for another baby. But the response isn’t what he’s hoping for, with Whit saying that she doesn’t want to as she can’t put her body through that again.

In the wake of this admission, Whitney and Zack have a difficult conversation about their future. Are they now too far apart in their thinking for the relationship to endure?
