Coronation Street's Claire Sweeney makes admission about 'darling' Ricky Hatton

Claire Sweeney has made a loving admission about her "darling" Ricky Hatton.

The Coronation Street star is currently dating the boxing legend, with the two having publicly declared their feelings for one another on social media. They have also been on holiday together, and Claire, 53, recently shared her pride as the former Welterweight Champion jetted off to America to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

In a new update on Monday, the "Hitman" shared a series of snaps from New York. One photo showed the boxing icon posing with his new Hall of Fame ring.

He said: "My @internationalboxinghalloffame ring. Extremely proud. Big thankyou to @edbrophyibhof & his hall of fame team & staff for their hospitality & putting together such a well organised event."

Claire was quick to comment, as she said: "Well done darling. You deserve this and should be so proud". The former Brookside star shares regular updates on her own social media pages, and at the moment she is currently in Spain with her son Jaxon.

The actress has posted many adorable photos as she and Jaxon, whom she shares with ex-partner Daniel Reilly, enjoy some fun in the sun in Mallorca.
