Yahoo News Corrie: Rosie decides to trick Gemma's cruel tormentors
Coronation Street's Rosie Webster will come up with a way to trick Gemma Winter's tormentors next week as they continue to make her life a misery.
Rosie (Helen Flanagan) becomes hellbent on putting a stop to Gemma's ordeal in upcoming scenes as she continues to struggle in the wake of her fallout with Rita Sullivan.
Rita turned on Gemma after the recent mix-up with The Kabin store, but it's not just their feud that's on Gemma's mind next week as it becomes clear she's being cruelly targeted by her former friends Zoe and Roxy.
When a man comes into the kebab shop and tells Gemma that her image doesn't match her profile, she quickly realises that Zoe and Roxy have set up a fake account on a dating site in a bid humiliate her.
Devastated, Gemma explains to a supportive Norris that the pair are out for revenge on her because she reported them over The Kabin robbery.
But thankfully Rosie is soon coming to Gemma's rescue with a cunning plan to put the frighteners on the scheming duo by masquerading as Gemma's lawyer herself.
After tracking them down, Rosie accuses both Roxy and Zoe of cyber terrorism – advising them to stay away from her client if they want to avoid a jail sentence.
Will the girls fall for Rosie's act? And more importantly, will Rita and Gemma be reconciled afterwards? After all, both women could really do with a friend right now...
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, August 28 on ITV.
