Corrie's David Platt lies to girlfriend Shona Ramsey after Natalie kiss

Coronation Street's David Platt added to his problems tonight (May 22) when newcomer Natalie Watkins kissed him.

Natalie has been training with David at the barber shop and had already raised the suspicions of his girlfriend Shona and his mum Gail.

But tonight, Natalie finally made her move, when she unexpectedly kissed David after they'd been caught larking about together by Shona.

David didn't reciprocate the kiss and Natalie ended up apologising to him, with David promising to her that he wouldn't tell anyone.

Meanwhile, Shona was so worried that there might be something going on between the two that she sent Billy to the barbers to check up on them.

Later, David returned home and Shona apologised to him for being paranoid about Natalie. David accepted her apology and offered his own for being too busy lately to pay attention to her.

Shona then told him that everything would be fine along as there was nothing else he's not telling her.

Fans were unsurprisingly mad at both Natalie and David for their behaviour. While it's Natalie who made the move on David, his lying to Shona is bound to come back to haunt him, perhaps during the Platt's upcoming family holiday.

Coronation Street airs at 9pm all next week on ITV.
