Could A Kenan And Kel Reunion Special Happen?

Apparently today is the day that all our childhood dreams come true, as not only has there been a High School Musical reunion, but Kenan and Kel have teased a reunion too.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

After treating the world to a new sketch back in September on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Kel Mitchell has revealed that the two have ‘definitely been talking’ about getting back together for another reunion.

He told Digitial Spy: “Oh yeah, we’ve definitely been talking about it.

“Just to get back in those shoes, on stage together, we were both like, ‘Oh man, we gotta do something together again’.”

Somebody hold us because all of our Christmasses and birthdays have come at once.

Kel added that it was ‘awesome’ to bring back their Good Burger characters Ed and Lester Oaks on Jimmy Fallon’s show.

He explained: “It was an awesome platform to do it on Jimmy Fallon, we were both fans of Jimmy and it was so much fun. Everyone loved it, the audience was going crazy, it was awesome.

”I knew there was this love to see us back together and, man, it happened, I’m glad we did it, 'cos it made a lot of people happy and they were excited by it.”

Excited is an understatement, to be honest.

Kel, who’s now playing Double G in ‘Game Shakers’, also confessed to being a good sport when it comes to giving the fans what they want, admitting he’d happily perform his classic catchphrases if you ask (nicely, of course).

He said: “I don’t mind, I do it. I’m not one of those child stars that get upset when people ask me to do it. I think it’s cool. If it can put a smile on somebody’s face, I’m all about it, man.”

Speaking about his new show, Kel revealed: “It has that same energy from the '90s. It’s created by Dan - he created All That and Kenan and Kel - so it definitely does have that same feel.”
