Fans of the ITV gameshow The Cube now have the chance to take on the challenge themselves, as the glass doors slide open at one of London’s most eagerly anticipated gaming experiences.

The Cube at Canary Wharf opens today and features 21 of the famous glass cube challenges in which players test their physical ability, mental agility, speed, judgement and balance. It was created by The Mellors Group and Objective Media Group.

Each challenge in The Cube is different. Some appear simple, yet hidden difficulties will catch players out - forcing them to make bold decisions to move forward. It's described by organisers as an "adrenaline boosting gaming experience" that "pushes the boundaries of immersive entertainment".

With dedicated VIP areas and packages tailored to suit large group bookings, The Cube at Canary Wharf is also being aimed at party-planners as well as corporate and team building event organisers.

Alongside its gaming experience, The Cube at Canary Wharf showcases the Amsterdam-based burger bar The Butcher, and the UK’s first Toni Loco Pizzeria. Six mixologist-led bars complete the lineup, serving cocktails, spirits, wines and beers.

The ITV gameshow The Cube aired from 2009 to 2021 and was hosted by Phillip Schofield. Contestants were offered the chance to win a top prize of £250,000 by completing various challenges inside a perspex cube, measuring 4m x 4m x 4m.

Physical and mental tasks forced participants to try their hands at anything from catching, throwing, guessing, reacting, memorising and balancing. The Cube Canary Wharf is located at 14 Charter St, London E14 5GZ, and tickets can be purchased here.
