Cute Five-Year-Old Sings Patriotic Songs for Independence Day

A five-year-old girl whose patriotic singing was a hit a couple of years ago proved she’s still got it with a mini concert for July Fourth.

Amy Bubenik filmed her daughter, Amelia, dressed in the stars and stripes and singing God Bless America and The Star-Spangled Banner.

Bubenik told Storyful that she and Amy have relatives who have or are currently serving in the military.

“She still loves singing and honoring her country! Happy Birthday America!” Bubenik wrote on the YouTube video description. Credit: @ameliadayusa via Storyful

Video transcript

- (SINGING) God bless America, land that I love. Stand beside her and guide her through the night with the light from above. Through the mountains, through the prairies, through the oceans light with fire, God bless America, my home sweet home.

God bless America my home sweet home. Happy birthday, America.

Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light. What's so pride how we hailed in the twilight's last gleaming. Whose bright stripes and bright stars through the perilous last fight, oh, the red parts we watched were so gallantly streaming.

And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. Oh, say does that star spangle, banner yet wave, for the land of the free and the home of the brave.
