A cyclist remains in hospital after sustaining serious injuries following a collision in Great Sutton.

We reported last week that the collision, involving a 60-year-old male cyclist and a silver Ford B-Max, occurred at the junction of Bridge Meadow and Broadland Road at 6.50pm on April 19.

The junction was taped off while emergency services dealt with the incident. Officers investigating a serious collision in Ellesmere Port are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Sergeant Darren Owen said: "We are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to get in touch with us. The same goes for anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV footage of what happened. You can report information to us via cheshire.police.uk/tell-us, or call 101, quoting 24000355960."
