Damaging Tornado Caught on Camera in Hot Springs

Dramatic footage shows a damaging tornado on the horizon in Hot Springs, Arkansas, overnight into May 8.

The National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed that an EF-2 tornado touched down in the Hot Springs and Lake Hamilton area.

Footage taken by Adam Miller shows the funnel cloud on the horizon in Garland County on Tuesday night.

More than 20,000 customers were without power later on Wednesday, according to local reports.

Another tornado watch was in effect for parts of Arkansas on Wednesday, with the NWS warning of scattered 75 mph wind gusts and up to softball-sized hail. Credit: Adam Miller via Storyful
