Dancing with the Stars will be cha-chaing its way into the autumn thanks to an ABC renewal.

The Alphabet Network has commissioned the whooping 27th season of the US version of Strictly Come Dancing, to air this autumn. Season 26, featuring only athletes, is expected to begin airing next month.

The most recent Dancing with the Stars run finished up last December, when 23-year-old Secret Life of the American Teenager star Jordan Fisher and his professional partner Lindsay Arnold topped violinist Lindsey Stirling and her pro Mark Ballas in the final.

Mark Ballas is, of course, the son of current Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas. Watch the crowning moment from season 25 below:

ABC has also commissioned a 23rd season of The Bachelor, just a week after race car driver Arie Luyendyk Jr's controversial final rose ceremony.

Arie royally pissed off Bachelor fans by dumping Becca Kufrin after proposing to her in his rose ceremony, choosing instead to reconcile with runner-up Lauren Burnham.

Watch that awkward moment where Arie broke the bad news to Becca below:

Other ABC commissions this week include a 29th season of America's Funniest Home Videos, and more of the Ricky Gervais-produced Child Support. The network hasn't renewed the summer reality show Boy Band or Battle of the Network Stars at this time.
