David Beckham admits he was 'starstruck' meeting Game Of Thrones' Samwell Tarly

He might be one of the most famous people on the planet, but David Beckham has revealed that he is not above getting a little starstruck himself – admitting that he seriously freaked out after meeting a Game Of Thrones’ star.

The former footballer is a huge fan of the HBO fantasy drama and could barely contain his excitement when he bumped into John Bradley, who plays Samwell Tarly in the drama.

Posting the image to his popular Instagram page, David confessed that he’d wanted to ask the actor for spoilers during their meeting.

He shared: “This man is a maester, he knows things… Was tempted to ask for a little clue into what’s next but was too starstruck #gameofthrones”.

And if David’s grin in the image is anything to go by, he definitely wasn’t exaggerating.

As well as racking up over a million likes from his fans, David’s photo also impressed his oldest son, 18-year-old Brooklyn Beckham, who simply commented: “You lucky bugger” on the picture.

Let’s hope Becks remembered to get an autograph for Brooklyn, eh?

The Beckhams have always been huge Game Of Thrones’ fans, with David landing himself in trouble with his social media followers earlier this year when he posted spoilers in his Instagram Story.

The father-of-four was in hot water after he posted pictures and commentary for the shocking season seven episode ‘The Queen’s Justice’ the night before it aired in the UK.
