The pair will do anything to stick together, including escaping evil witches, Hell and Death herself. With the help of a clairvoyant named Crystal (Hollyoaks’ Kassius Nelson) and her friend Niko (Expats’ Yuyu Kitamura), they crack some of the mortal realm’s most mystifying paranormal cases.

Set in The Sandman universe and based on characters created for DC by Neil Gaiman and Matt Wagner, Dead Boy Detectives hails from co-showrunners Steve Yockey (The Flight Attendant) and Beth Schwartz (Arrow).

Additional cast includes Briana Cuoco (The Flight Attendant) as Jenny Green, Crystal and Niko’s landlord and owner of the Tongue & Tail butcher shop; Ruth Connell (Supernatural, Doom Patrol) as the Night Nurse, an overworked member of Death’s bureaucracy tasked with ensuring lost children reach their appropriate afterlives; Michael Beach (Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story) as Tragic Mick, a walrus-turned-man who owns a magic shop full of useful things; and Jenn Lyon (Claws) as Esther, a witch with a grudge against the titular sleuths.

Lukas Gage (YOU), David Iacono (The Flight Attendant) and Caitlin Reilly (Hacks) also guest-star.
