Drivers were facing delays on the A140 due to a broken-down car.

The road was partially blocked near Long Stratton on the northbound side of the carriageway.

Police were called at around 2.10pm to a car with a blown-out tyre which was causing queues on the road near Tasburgh Hill.

A recovery team was sent to the scene.

The incident follows a crash which was causing 45-minute delays on the A140 between Tasburgh and Newton Flotman this morning.

Heavy congestion built on the route with tailbacks building back towards the B1527 roundabout and the Mill Lane junction.

The crash caused disruption to local bus services with the 36/36A being diverted.
