Dividing a nation? Pro-Russian minority in Bulgaria clings onto Slavic history

Bulgarians head to the polls on Sunday in their fifth parliamentary election in two years. The political landscape is divided, particularly over the question of support for Ukraine since Russia's full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022. Bulgaria is a member of NATO and the European Union, but still retains deep historical and cultural ties with Russia.
