‘Divorce sucks’: Chris Pratt breaks silence on Anna Faris split

Chris Pratt has spoken out about his split from Anna Faris, claiming “divorce sucks”.

The Hollywood couple, who have son Jack together, announced they were divorcing last year after eight years of marriage.

Pratt said the situation is “not ideal” but that they are “probably doing better” being single.

“Divorce sucks,” Pratt told Entertainment Weekly. “But at the end of the day, we've got a great kid who's got two parents who love him very much.

"And we're finding a way to navigate this while still remaining friends and still being kind to one another. It's not ideal, but yeah, I think both of us are actually probably doing better."

Faris spoke previously about their split saying “life is too short” to stay with someone who “doesn’t have your back”.

Speaking on her podcast she said: “I made that mistake, I think, a little bit, like ‘I'm checking my relationship off the list’ and if that would be the final piece of advice I could give you, that would be know your worth, know your independence.'

“There are so many people out there, there's so much life experience, I hope you get to live it all and experience a whole lot of people.”

Faris is said to be dating cinematographer Michael Barrett. Pratt is believed to be single – but he recently opened up about finding “love at first sight” with a cow.

Pratt posted a picture of the farm animal on Instagram, posting: “Love at first sight. This good lookin lady is from the great state of Texas.”
