Don't Tell the Bride returned to E4 tonight (August 15), where we met Anna and her reluctant husband-to-be Lee.

Anna and Lee, who have two children together, had some very different ideas about what they wanted from their big day.

Anna, who describes herself as a romantic, was after something traditional. You know, in a nice church with her family.

But Lee seemed a little less romantic and admitted he had previously told Anna he would only marry her if they were in Las Vegas and he was drunk. Errr.

So, Lee's big idea was to bring a Vegas-style wedding to the UK, but only after he had gone there himself with his mates, to do 'research'.

Lee explained: "Anna's getting the wedding, I'm getting the stag do. I want to go to Vegas, and that's what it's going to be.

"All I want is a little blow-out with the boys, and then she can have the wedding and everything else she wants."

Only, Lee's 'little blow-out' in Las Vegas ended up lasting four days and costing around £3,000, which was almost a quarter of the entire budget.

Understandably, Lee received a king-sized roasting on Twitter for blowing his and Anna's wedding budget.

Warning: some NSFW tweets follow...

And if you think Lee eventually wised up and decided to give Anna the wedding she deserves, then you've clearly never seen the men on this show before.

Once back from Vegas, Lee ended up buying the couple's wedding bands and Anna's engagement ring off Gumtree and collecting them from a man at a bus stop.

He then got his mate to build a shed resembling the Little White Chapel and splashed out £1,000 on Vegas-style props (while Anna's dress only cost £749).

Lee also hired an Elvis impersonator who he auditioned on FaceTime.

And when it came to the big day, Mother Nature wasn't on Lee's side as the rain poured – playing havoc with the freshly-painted shed.

But despite all the warning signs, Anna married Lee and even said Elvis-themed vows.

Although, it's safe to say most viewers wouldn't have gone through with the nuptials.

Don't Tell the Bride airs on Wednesday nights at 9pm on E4.
