Aberdeen look set to lose Duk this summer after his agent said the club had "passed up" multiple offers for the star.

While popular with the fans, the Cape Verde international found himself out of favour under Barry Robson and Neil Warnock.

Despite a slew of goals in his first season at the club, Duk found himself on the bench for most of last season, and managed just seven goals and five assists in all competitions.

That was a far cry from the year before where his performances caught the eye of clubs across Europe.

And now his agent Carlos Oliveira has confirmed the 24-year-old still has suitors hoping to sign him up after the Dons rejected deals from the likes of Young Boys back in January and sides in Serie A last year, Football Scotland reports.

Asked about transfer interest in Duk, Oliveira said: "Yes, a lot since the end of the first season," Oliveira revealed. "This January, despite being a bad season, it wasn't Duk's fault. Who scores 18 goals playing in his position up front, then this season they put him on the wings? He'll have to leave this summer."

Oliveira - who also represents former Rangers loanee Fabio Silva - said the player explain does not want Aberdeen to lose out however, and would prefer they earned cash on him as his deal only runs for one more year.

Oliveira added: "Aberdeen will have to realise that they passed up excellent offers in the summer of 2023 and January 2024.

"Duk will have one more year on his contract and in January 2025 he can sign as a free player. We don't want to do that, we're grateful to Aberdeen but they'll have to be flexible. It wasn't just Young Boys (who were interested earlier this year). Several teams wanted Duk but Aberdeen rejected everything."
