Brace yourself, This Morning viewers – as everything's about to change: Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford are being replaced next week.

Usually, the pair take over from Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby during the school half-term holiday, but not this time.

Instead, Rylan Clark-Neal will be joined by Alison Hammond to present the ITV show for the entire week.

We don't want to alarm you or anything, but could this be a permanent change?

The pair have presented their own segments on the show for ages, so are more than up to the job.

Rylan frequently pops into the presenting role when the need arises, even having husband Dan join him last year, so we're not completely upset about the temporary change.

On today's show (February 10), Alexander Armstrong got himself checked for testicular cancer by the show's resident Dr Chris.

The Pointless host had the quick examination done live on TV to show viewers at home just how easy – and important – getting checked is.

Chatting to Eamonn and Ruth, Xander stressed how vital it is that men don't let embarrassment get in the way of having the check-up.

"I want to demonstrate how easy it is because it takes 20 seconds to have this," he explained. "It's one of the things that surrounds men's health issues – we're rubbish at it, we just don't talk about it."

This Morning airs on ITV.
