Yahoo News EastEnders' Keegan Baker gets more shocks tonight
EastEnders airs the aftermath of Keegan Baker's shock discovery tonight (March 16) as he demands answers from his dad Mitch.
The BBC soap revealed a dark Taylor family secret in Thursday night's episode as Keegan Baker overheard his parents Karen and Mitch having a shocking conversation.
Believing that no-one else could hear them, the pair's conversation turned to Keanu's father – who had been handed a lengthy sentence for stabbing Karen and nearly killing her.
Horrified by what he heard, Keegan pushes Mitch for further answers tonight, demanding to know exactly what happened to Karen and when.
After telling Keegan the truth about Keanu's father, Mitch later finds a way to use this to his advantage. But what is he about to do? And what will it mean for Keegan and Keanu?
Speaking to Digital Spy recently, Zack Morris – who plays Keegan – said: "It gives Keegan a bit more of an understanding of why it would have been difficult for Mitch to stay around, with that having gone on.
"Mitch does have a chat with Keegan and explains the reasons why he left. It provides a confirmation of why it all actually happened, so Keegan can't be as angry with him.
"It's still an issue that Mitch did leave, because he could have chosen not to do that. But it gives Keegan a bit more understanding of why."
EastEnders airs these scenes tonight at 8pm on BBC One.
