George has turned to underground boxing as he was consumed with rage and guilt over several personal issues, with his family urging him that fighting isn’t the best way to quell his demons.

Gina attempts to blackmail George into escaping the fight but her plan doesn’t work, with things getting messy as Elaine, Cindy and Anna all clash.

Anna leaves a message with Junior regarding their father’s fight, with George later shocked as Junior arrives to call off the fight.

The group return to The Vic following the ordeal, but Junior promptly leaves as he feels out of place, deciding to head to Peggy’s instead.

“It always feels new - you always want to go back with a fresh head. You never really want to go back with the same head - I'm not here with the same mindset that I was when I left. It's a fresh experience, but in exactly the same place.”

EastEnders airs on Mondays - Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
