Yahoo News EastEnders Halloween horror as Tina runs Janet over
EastEnders is about to kick off a huge new storyline for Tina Carter which sees her seriously injure Janet Mitchell in a horror accident on Halloween.
Tina (Luisa Bradshaw-White) will take centre stage in next week's shock scenes which look set to rock Walford and change several lives forever.
Janet's life will be left hanging in the balance when she is run over by Tina whilst celebrating Halloween with the rest of the Square's youngsters.
However, the Halloween fun will take a devastating turn when a group of the children sneak out of Jack's party with Dennis – leaving Ingrid and Jack to launch a frantic search for Amy and Janet, who don't return with the others.
Unfortunately, Amy and Janet's disappearing act will coincide with a terrifying situation for Tina – who has a knife pulled out on her whilst fetching alcohol from the cash and carry.
Although Tina ultimately manages to fight off the men, the incident leaves her so shaken that she ends up hitting something in the road as she heads back to Walford.
Still not thinking straight after the earlier events, an anxious Tina assumes she's hit Dave the cat and decides to drive off – completely oblivious that she's actually knocked over Janet.
Tina's guilt over driving off from the incident catches up with her when she returns to The Vic, but she relaxes upon hearing that Dave is safe – and decides to report the earlier robbery instead.
However, as the search for Amy and Janet continues, Honey's world is turned upside down when she finds her daughter being rushed away in an ambulance.
As the residents reel from Janet's accident, Tina comes to the awful realisation that she was responsible, but what will she do? And more importantly, will Janet be alright?
EastEnders airs these scenes on Tuesday, October 31, Thursday, November 2, and Friday November 3 on BBC One.
