EastEnders: Phil Mitchell confronts Denise Fox about their baby

It is the moment that all EastEnders fans have been waiting for – this week Phil Mitchell will discover that he is the father of Denise Fox’s baby, and trust us when we say that he is not happy about being kept in the dark.

Denise only discovered that she was pregnant when she was six months down the line, originally believing that the father was her then-lover Kush Kazemi.

However, when she realised how far along she was she knew that the baby was actually a result of her drunken one-night-stand with Phil, and she was far too mortified to tell anybody.

Last week, Shirely got the big secret out of her in the Queen Vic toilets, with the pair totally unaware that Phil’s wife, Sharon Mitchell, was in another cubicle and heard every word.

Originally opting to not tell Phil that he was going to be a father again, Sharon changed her mind when she heard that Denise was putting the baby up for adoption.

It has now been revealed that after Phil finds out the news he is absolutely furious and immediately confronts Denise in the delivery room of the hospital, however, it is unknown whether he will fight for custody of his newborn son or if he will agree that adoption is the best choice for the tot.

Denise gave birth to the little boy in Friday’s emotional episode, later telling the baby: “I’m Denise. I brought you into this world but I’m not going to be your mum.

“You see there’s this couple and they’ve been waiting for you and they’re going to look after you because I can’t.”

Will Phil knowing throw yet another spanner into Denise’s plans?
