EastEnders spoilers: Kim's day in court leads to panic attack, Patrick returns to the Square

Chelsea gets an unwelcome blast from the past on EastEnders next week when Gray reaches out to her.

Plus Kim heads to court in a state of panic, Patrick returns to the Square, and Martin has big suspicions about the actions of Theo.

Kim panics in court

The day of her sentencing finds Kim in a state of high anxiety. And despite attempts at reassurance from both Howie and Denise, she believes she could be heading to prison.

When Denise learns from Howie that he and Kim can’t afford to fund any counselling, she gives him £500 from her and Jack’s joint account. But when Jack discovers the money gone, he hits the roof.

At the court, meanwhile, Denzel gives his statement, but when footage of the accident is played by the prosecution, Kim experiences a full-blown panic attack.

Patrick is back

A shocked Patrick returns to find Denise’s marriage on the rocks. He can’t believe he wasn’t informed but is also quite evasive when Denise quizzes him about his time with Yolande.

Patrick then decides that what he needs to do is counsel a distraught Jack. His advice? That Jack needs to show Denise how much he loves her.

Martin is suspicious of Theo

After being diagnosed with high blood pressure, Lily is signed off school until she’s given birth. But the pregnant teen is worried about missing out on school work – however, Theo offers to tutor her for free for this period.

Stacey is thrilled but Martin immediately questions why Theo is willing to do this and decides to do some digging. After discovering that Theo also recently bought trainers for Lily, Martin suspicions are aroused and, soon enough, accusations are being thrown around.

Later in the week, a horrified Stacey discovers that Lily has been rushed to hospital – a situation that results in Martin accusing Theo of having hurt her…

Chelsea is contacted by Gray

Whitney has plans for a moving-in party for Zack, but Chelsea is struggling to focus as she’s just received a later from Gray.

Ravi then offers his shoulder to cry on, but Chelsea quickly dismisses his efforts to get back into her good books. Refusing to give up, Ravi blags an invite to Zack’s party and arrives determined to win Chelsea round.

But when he again gets a knockback, he starts flirting with partygoer Daisy. Chelsea, though, won’t take the bait – but does go all-out to sabotage Ravi’s plans with Daisy.

Bride wars

Elaine decides to act as fairy godmother when she starts helping Kathy, Sharon and Kat with their upcoming nuptials.

But the first session of Bride Club doesn’t go as planned, with Sharon and Kat trading barbed comments from the get-go. As the sniping intensifies, we’ll see Sharon reacting to one particularly out-of-order comment and storming out.

But the next day, a guilty feeling Kat decides to make amends by offering Keanu some wise romantic words. Keanu then realises where he’s been making mistakes and attempts to make things up with Sharon, who’s thrilled by his renewed sense of commitment.

Lola’s birthday is marked

Just because Lola is gone doesn’t mean she’s been forgotten. And on what would have been her 27th birthday, Lola’s loved ones will be seen gathering at the salon.

And the reason for everyone assembling is so Denise can unveil a plaque on Lola’s chair that’s dedicated to their lost friend.
