DCI Keeble certainly recognises the gravity of the situation and warns Phil that he won’t survive much longer in prison before giving him 48 hours to make a decision on her offer.
But, by Tuesday, the menacing Craig has given Phil a warning: he dies tomorrow. A stubborn Phil, though, still refuses to take Keeble’s deal. And as Craig’s men arrive, it looks as though this really could be the end…
Mitch’s brother Avery debuts
The Baker clan expands thanks to the arrival of Mick’s estranged brother Avery, who debuts on Monday driving a flash car.
Pretty soon, the atmosphere is tense at the Taylors’, with Mitch refusing to give his sibling the time of day. His main grievance is that Avery wasn’t there when Mitch needed him the most. But after apologies are made, Mitch reluctantly agrees to help Avery with a job he has planned.
The trouble is, the work turns out to be dodgy, and this development angers Mitch, who warns his brother to stay away from his family. But during a showdown, Avery collapses and, by Friday, his two sons Finlay and Felix will have also turned up – and shared a shock revelation…
Stacey dumps Kheerat

But spotting Suki walking in, Kheerat ends up backing away – an action that leaves Stacey feeling devastated. Believing that Kheerat must be embarrassed of her, she ends their relationship.
And, on Tuesday, Kheerat also gets a telling off from Eve, who puts him in his place for the way he’s been treating Stacey.
Linda shows Janine who’s boss
Sharon tells Linda that she doesn’t have to prove herself to anyone, but the landlady is determined to start working at the Queen Vic again.
Mick eventually agrees to the plan, but warns her that he and Shirley are taking a trip to see Zsa Zsa, so it’ll be just Linda and Janine working at the pub.
Friday’s drama will then find Linda taking full advantage of the situation and bossing Janine around at the Vic.
Ben’s efforts are rejected by Peter
Kathy is struggling to keep her family together, but further fracturing feels inevitable when tensions between Peter and Ben boil over.
On Friday, we’ll see realisation dawn for Jay that Peter is actually fully aware that it was Ben who attacked him. Jay then encourages Ben to tell Peter the truth, but an attempt to reach out goes awry.
So, as Ben offers an olive branch, expect Peter to be less than impressed by the efforts made at a reconciliation.
