Emmerdale spoilers: Cain reveals secrets about his childhood, plus missing-persons crisis for Charles
Charles tries to track down his missing daughter Naomi on Emmerdale next week, while Cain is reliving past traumas.

Charles finds his daughter Naomi
Ethan receives word from his mum that his sister Naomi has gone missing – and it’s news that sends Charles into a guilty panic, as he realises that the disappearance is likely down to his refusal to meet with her.

Marcus then tries to help out and digs around for information on where to find Naomi, but Charles’s search initially results in him hitting a series of dead ends. But later, while searching a bar, Charles finds his daughter, only to witness her arguing with the manager of the establishment.
Charles proceeds to jump in and defend her, pushing over her boss in the process, But fans can expect a bewildered reaction from Naomi when Charles lets slip who he really is.
Cain reveals the trauma in his past
News that Faith’s cancer has spread leaves Cain privately reeling, but he’s still adopting a mask of indifference in public. Moira, though, thinks he should reach out soon or he’ll end up with big regrets.
What we’ll then see is Cain reaching out to his sister Chas and the two of them having a long dark night of the soul in which the village hard man shares his traumatic memories of the past and the damage inflicted on him by Faith.
As they reminisce, Cain agrees to make more of an effort regarding Faith. Chas, meanwhile, will also continue to use Al as a way of escaping her problems – with the two of them sharing another passionate kiss.
Leyla prepares to confess
Liam questions Leyla about what he thinks is her drink problem, but she covers and claims to have been out with Priya the night before. Priya, though, contradicts the tale, which leaves Leyla using grief over Leanna as an excuse.
But this latest ruse only ends up fuelling Liam’s concerns further and, in the end, Leyla will be seen returning home to her sleeping husband and placing her bags of cocaine on the table, seemingly summoning up the courage to confess the truth…
David’s insurance fraud
A cash-strapped David seems determined to continue with his fraudulent insurance claim following the accident involving Nicola last week. But when Jacob and Priya make their opposition to his behaviour clear, he starts to show a touch of regret.
So will David continue with his bogus claim and risk ostracising his nearest and dearest?
Liv’s mum returns
A comeback for Liv’s alcoholic mum Sandra must surely be bad news, as the one thing the 20-year-old needs to do is stay off the booze.
But Sandra returns with a plea for Liv to help her quit drinking. But is she really best placed to aid her mother? And is all as it really seems when it comes to Sandra’s intentions?
What’s behind Matty’s mood swings?
Matty is in a belligerent mood, and when he gets wind of the fact that Amy has been quizzing Ryan about the matter, he snaps and sends a chair flying.
Moira – who’s aware of the reasons for Matty’s anger – then tries to defuse tensions and implores Matty to reveal all to Amy…
