EastEnders spoilers: Vinny tries to kill Eve, mystery of George’s wife rings alarms
Will there be a death in the Square?
Vinny goes to extremes to get Eve out of Suki’s life on EastEnders next week, while Callum’s investigations into George’s errant wife Rose takes a surprising turn.
Plus Ben’s negligence risks Lexi’s welfare, Bobby is on a mission and Lily is scheming away to get hold of some cash.

Vinny to kill Eve?
Suki tries to play the perfect wife and mother on Father’s Day, but Eve still wants her to stop living a lie. Vinny, though, is determined to intervene and ends up threatening Eve, who tells him to do his worst.
Vinny then heads to Taylor’s Autos and tampers with the brakes on Finlay’s sports car, knowing that Eve is about to drive it to Brighton. But Suki clocks what he’s done and collars her son, berating him to trying to kill Eve.

When Vinny then accuses his mum of trying to protect her secret lover, Suki insists that it’s all over with Eve and that she’s made her choice: him and the family. And following this heated set-to, Suki lies to Nish and says that they need to sack Eve as she keeps messing up. Vinny then offers to dismiss Eve, who’s left devastated. But Nish suspects that there’s more to all this than meets the eye and decides to quiz Vinny…
The mystery of George’s wife Rose
A suspicious Linda talks to Phil about George’s missing former wife Rose. And wanting to put Linda’s mind at rest, Phil decides to find out what he can to ensure he’s going into business with someone he can trust.
Callum is then convinced by Phil to search the police database, but when he looks up Rose, he finds all access is denied.
It’s a revelation that leaves Linda more convinced than ever that George is dodgy. But the man himself insists to Phil that there’s nothing to tell and that Linda has got things wrong. But Phil later accuses George of not being straight with him.
Lexi makes an announcement
A withdrawn Lexi is convinced by Ben and Jay to join them for lunch. But Lexi tells the pair she wants to speak at Lola’s funeral – something that Ben forbids, fearing it’ll be too much for her.
Lexi is furious and Ben crumbles thanks to the force of her anger, with Jay eventually having to step in to make peace. As things calm down, Ben then reveals that he’s decorated Lexi’s bedroom, so everything is now ready for her to move in.
Ben backtracks where Lexi is concerned
Ben’s struggles with bulimia are also in the spotlight with the upcoming drama seeing him panic when he finds that the toilets are closed at Walford East. In a state, Ben leaves Lexi alone in the restaurant, but when she sees a mother and daughter sitting together, she runs out into the Square.
It’s at this point that a horrified Billy spies Lexi and realises that Ben has left her by herself. And after tracking Ben down, Billy doesn’t mince is words: he needs to step up and be the dad that Lexi needs. But shaken by the incident, Ben ends up backtracking on having Lexi live with him, convinced that he’ll be a terrible father.
Bobby is on a mission
Bobby, meanwhile, continues in his quest to help Rocky get Kathy’s wedding guests there for the big day, with Freddie encouraging him to do whatever it takes.

But by Wednesday, Bobby will be seen struggling with the wish list when he gets a knockback. Kathy, though, thanks him for trying, which turns out to be the incentive Bobby needs to not give up.
Lily gets cash from Theo
Elsewhere, we’ll see Lily and Ricky conceiving some money-making schemes, one of which involves luring Theo to the Square to tell him that she’s going to have to sell her trainers.
Theo tells her not to and instead gives Liy some money. And in order to avoid any awkward questions, he tells the pregnant teen that she should tell Stacey the cash came from Ricky doing odd jobs. Lily can’t help but be thrilled that she’s played Leo.
